ISO 14001 Clause 4.6

ISO 14001 clause 4.6 has no sub-clauses.

Top management will review the company’s EMS at planned intervals to make sure its continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness.

The management review process must include the entire EMS. However, not all elements need to be reviewed at once and the reviews and can take place over a period of time. The management review requirement is critical to the success of the EMS as well as its improvement. Therefore, top management is required to actually conduct these reviews. Records of reviews need to be maintained showing what was discussed and the decided on action.
