The new
ISO 9001 audit approach focuses on process effectiveness. You
will learn the difference between auditing to the clauses of the
ISO 9001 standard and process auditing.
Ask the right type of questions
You will
learn the type of questions to ask and information needed to
determine process and system effectiveness. ISO 9001:2000 audits
must go beyond determining if people are following instructions.
It is necessary to find out if the customer requirements are
being met.
Common problem
A common
problem found by outside auditors is the internal audits are
clause focused and not to determine process and system
effectiveness in addressing customer needs. This is a reflection
of improper auditor training.
Auditor competence
Help your
company stay in compliance with IS0 9001:2000 and satisfy
your customers' requirements.
Internal
audits properly conducted and documented can save your company
time, money, and certification board findings.
This
dynamic seminar is an interactive learning opportunity.
Best auditing class I've taken! Most the auditing classes bored me
stiff.
The guy from QPA kept my attention by using real-life examples
that he had experienced. Derek McBride, Operator

Auditors’ Checklist
I have a
comprehensive process-based auditing
checklist for ISO 9001:2000. This checklist has been
used for certification audits and internal audits. It covers all
the common processes in companies beginning with customers'
requests for quotes and going through to packaging and shipping
the order.
I added
blank template pages so you can add more processes or questions
that you want. The checklist is over 230 pages and covers
everything needed to pass certification and surveillance audits.
The checklist is also the lowest priced one I found and twice as
comprehensive.
If you
want an ISO/TS 16949 process-based checklist, I have that also.
The TS 16949 checklist has nearly 400 pages covering
automotive processes.
